// 01 - How Delirious Eyewear was born - from Italian craft to global recognition

Origins of Delirious Eyewear
How It All Began
In the summer of 2012, founder Marco Lanero wandered the streets of Cadore searching for a small atelier to craft a pair of custom sunglasses. He eventually discovered a team of young artisans who hand-made his very first frame - no laser engraving, no brand label, just pure craftsmanship.
People have a strong desire for a product that provides quality and a high level of manufacture; a return to a design that represents a quest for innovation.
Back at university that autumn, Marco’s unbranded sunglasses began turning heads. He realized that true value lies in refined, top-quality design - not in a famous label. By winter, he invested in an industrial engraver and sold 189 bespoke pairs before partnering with his friend Camillo Bovio to launch the first Delirious website.
Our Philosophy
Delirious Eyewear sets itself apart through design, materials, and manufacturing. We aim to redefine fashion by eliminating the emphasis on labels - celebrating purity of form and unrivaled craftsmanship instead.
The only engraving on our glasses is ‘handcrafted in Italy,’ so there’s no need to think about the brand.
Design Inspiration
Rather than following contemporary trends, we look to vintage collections from past centuries. Our aesthetic focuses on simple lines and minimalistic shapes, informed by deep expertise in eyewear craftsmanship.

Premium Materials
We source only the finest materials - natural acetate, Indian water buffalo horn, Japanese titanium, and beta-titanium. Each material undergoes rigorous testing for durability, comfort, and finish before making it into our collection.

Who We Design For
Our targets are bold, confident people, and we are confident in what we design…
We craft for individuals who value personal style over brand prestige—people comfortable in their own skin, seeking innovation, refinement, and uniqueness rather than a logo to show off.
