Un Olandese a Milano by Larry de Kat

The Delirious musical project came to light through the strong passion that founder, Marco Lanero, has for music niche genres influenced by soul, jazz, and house music.

In 2015, Marco came across an up-and-coming Dutch composer, Larry de Kat, on Soundcloud. Struck by his music, Marco contacted Larry to compliment his musical skills and to give him a pair of customized sunglasses.

The two soon became close friends, deciding to unite their passions to create a collaboration known as the Delirious musical project. The idea behind their production is to make good music, especially music for those with a preference for rare and valuable things, music that seeks to consolidate the Delirious community.

EPs and vinyls are produced and distributed on virtual platforms such as Spotify, Beatport, and Soundcloud; a well as the best music stores around the world.  Volume I was released on September 15th, 2017.  It contains Larry de Kat offering music-lovers a phenomenal track list of downtempo italo disco and dub and soul cuts.  Also on the record, Juno, an up-and-coming young artist can be heard along with the hot key of Thomas van Dijk.

Volume II is coming out in 2019 with the inauguration of our own London-based record label, Daily Briefing Records.  The project is artistically produced by Spanish producer Rayko.  This extraordinary artist has been a leading light in the disco scene since 2008, the year he launched his magnificent Rare Wiri imprint. Since then his name has appeared on literally dozens of great records scattered across labels like Eskimo, Whiskey Disco, Lumberjacks in Hell, and Nang.

Deeply rooted in '70s and '80s disco, funk, boogie, and rock, Rayko's influences are masterfully interpreted and transformed into modern day dancefloor bombs.  His mind-blowing edit of Candi Staton's 'Broadway' came in at number 1 in Juno's best of 2011 disco chart, proving he's right at the crest of the disco edit wave.

But his talents don't stop there. He's delved into original productions, with his second studio album coming out late 2017 at Nang, one of the finest Nudisco London-based labels.  Additonally, he’s been asked to skillfully remix tracks by Psychemagik, Ajello, In Flagranti & DJ Rocca, to name a few...

As a DJ, he's been exported to the USA, Africa, Asia, South and North America and all around Europe, and his global following is noticeably illustrated by his massive following on SoundCloud, with more than 30k followers, and over five million plays.

As the months go on and his catalogue expands, Rayko is rapidly becoming one of the most loved names in modern day disco.
